The Affcot Lodge has recently changed ownership. The new owners Chris & Wendy Davis also own the Ragleth Inn, www.theraglethinn.co.uk in Little Stretton, which is well known in and around Church Stretton for offering a quality dining experience and friendly atmosphere.
The renowned racecourse at Ludlow, www.ludlow-racecourse.co.uk is a short drive away and Affcot Lodge is an ideal place to stay or to visit after the meeting. We have an extremely large car park and coaches are welcome, but please book if you wish to eat in a large group.
If you are looking to play a round of golf during your visit there are a number of courses within a short drive. However the course in Church Stretton, www.churchstrettongolfclub.co.uk is only 5 minutes away.
Other local places of interest include Acton Scott Historic Working Farm, www.actonscott.com , local Castles at Ludlow, www.ludlowcastle.com and Stokesay, not forgetting Flounders Folly, www.floundersfolly.org.uk within a view of the Lodge.
